This is the same mission as displayed at left, but showing the spraying over the 1 ATF base area. This was filmed from a 161 Sioux as the C-123 made one of many runs over the 1 ATF Base.

The mission was mosquito spraying using malathion insecticide. The same aircraft were used to spray defoliants.

The segment is part of almost six hours of 8mm movie filmed by the unit's operations officer taken over a 12 month period, including sequences of aircraft operations never shown before. Film was digitised in 1996.

Much of the original 8mm film is lodged with the AWM.
